Prati Shirdi Shirgaon

Most of our trips were towards the east pune and towards banglore highway, this time we wanted to cover some places towards PCMC and Mumbai highway. We chose Prati Shirdi at Shirgaon. Our determination to visit Shirgaon was  tested by
intermittent rains and we were undeterred.
By the time we started from Balewadi it was around 11am, the traffic on NH48 was bit slow because of an accident near a culvert. Once we reached Shirgaon the rain has stopped so we left our umbrellas and raincoats in the vehicle and entered the temple premises.
Main Temple
The temple has the similar architecture to that of Shirdi. Near to the entrance gate we took the tickets for Mahaprasad and entered the temple. There is a smal queue but one can see baba from the queue and the best part is there is no shoving and pushing each other. The inner hall in the temple contains pictures of all the people from the baba's period.
After darshan we had our lunch in the form of maha prasad. The dining hall is neat and has colourful interiors. Once we completed our lunch the rain started pouring, we waited for sometime but since there was no chance of rain subsiding we ventured into the rain. We haven't visited other areas in the premises.

By the time we came out the kids were ready to play on a ride, we indulged them and returned back.
